OPEN-SOURCE REALM ALTERNATIVE

An open-source path forward for Realm developers.

Keep the local-first model, move away from Atlas App Services, and choose a stack your team can inspect and operate.

WHAT CHANGED

The service ended. The product need did not.

Apps still need instant local reads, offline writes, live object results, migrations, and sync that can recover after a connection disappears.

BarqDB is an independent project derived from Realm projects. It removes Atlas App Services, BSON and MongoDB dependencies, telemetry, and the old App login layer.

BarqDB is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Realm, MongoDB, MongoDB Atlas, or their owners.
